Schrader Art Support uses your personal data in a careful, lawful and responsible manner, in line with applicable national and European privacy laws.

This means, among other things:

For what purposes do we process your personal data?

Schrader Art Support processes your personal data for a variety of purposes. We will never provide your information to third parties for commercial purposes. Your personal data is collected and processed for the following purposes:

  • Handling an order – to enable us to fulfill the contract we have entered into with you;
  • For communication, marketing and personalization purposes – to provide customer service, to offer (possibly personalized) offers and/or to provide information about our activities;
  • For fraud prevention and compliance with legal obligations – for identification, refuting fraud and performing checks to ensure security within the company and to comply with legislation and regulation;
  • Handling an order. If you place an order with us, we obviously need information from you in order to deliver the order and keep you informed about the order. For this reason, we ask for your name and address, telephone number and e-mail address. Without this information, no order can be placed and we cannot provide our services.
  • If you choose to pay by bank transfer, your payment information will be stored in our records so that we can link your payment to your order.

When paying electronically, we send your data to our payment provider MultiSafePay. MultiSafePay takes care of payment processing (we do not get to see your payment details). Finally, we may ask for your payment information if you receive money back from us.

For order fulfillment purposes, we may also provide your information to third parties as necessary to deliver your order. For example, we provide your name and address information, phone number and email address to our delivery services. The processing of this data is necessary to perform the contract entered into with you.

Improving our service and reviews

To continuously improve our service, we may use your information to invite you to participate in a no-obligation customer or market survey. In addition, we improve our service by monitoring customer behavior (for example, by recording your visits to our site with all activities within them, such as clicking on links and viewing product pages). You can also choose to write a review to help other customers and possibly make your name visible. We keep track of who writes which review.

For these purposes, we process your data for the pursuit of our legitimate interest to improve our service or if you have consented. We may use third parties to carry out such activities, after determining that these third parties comply with our privacy rules.

Communication, marketing and personalization purposes.

Customer Service
To ensure that we provide you with prompt service when you contact our customer service department, we use your personal information. In our customer service system, we may keep notes and record chat and phone calls to serve you and to analyze and improve our service. Contact form
We offer the opportunity to ask questions through a contact form, where you will be asked to fill in various details to handle your question. Without this information, we cannot answer your question. This data will be kept for as long as necessary to answer and process your inquiries. When completing the contact form, you consent to the processing of your data.

Personalized offers
We strive to show you products that are of interest to you based on, among other things, information during previous visits by you to our webshop. www.schrader.nl and our ad networks and media agencies also collect your browsing, search, and buying behavior through cookies. You are not obliged to provide this data but without it we cannot offer you personalized offers. You will receive these offers only if you have agreed to them.

Promotional purposes
From time to time, you can participate in fun contests and promotions with us. If you participate, we will need your name, address and e-mail address. This is because without these details we cannot run the promotion and announce the prize winner. We also use this data to analyze our actions. When participating in one of our promotions or campaigns, you consent to the processing of your data. Our analytical purposes are based on serving our legitimate interest to improve our actions and campaigns.

Newsletter and advertising
If you are a customer of ours or have indicated that you would like to receive newsletters from us, we will send you newsletters that will, among other things, keep you informed of great promotions, offers and news. Your e-mail address will then be automatically added to the mailing list for the newsletter. We may also notify our customers of new products and services by phone or social media.   • Data in response to your purchase of a product on Schrader Art Support (date and name of product or service purchased, order status, order quantity, order amount);
  • Information you entered to pay for your order (payment information, account number, customer number);
  • Your surfing, searching, and buying behavior on www.schrader.nl (IP address, cookies, surf and click behavior);
  • Personal data you hand over as part of correspondence, feedback, help (Q&A) and dispute resolution (name and other personal data you enter yourself).

To whom does Schrader Art Support provide my personal data?

Schrader Art Support provides personal data to third parties only when permissible and carefully done. Personal data will only be provided to third parties if you have given your own consent or if this is permitted under the General Data Protection Regulation (AVG). Schrader Art Support provides personal data, for example, to third parties who deliver your order or police, judicial or anti-fraud organizations when necessary to comply with a legal obligation or a legitimate interest of Schrader Art Support.

How long does Schrader Art Support keep your personal data?

The personal data we collect from you will be kept for as long as necessary to fulfill your orders, including warranty. Thereafter, we will retain your data for up to one year for the statistical purposes described. The data is then deleted unless there is a legal obligation that requires longer retention (such as the seven-year tax retention obligation for payment data).

How can you exercise your privacy rights?

Right to access, correct or delete your personal data
You may direct a request for inspection, correction or deletion to Schrader Art Support. One way to do this is through the contact form. Clearly indicate in the subject line that the request is for inspection, correction or deletion.

Right to restriction of processing

You have the right to ask us to restrict data processing when the accuracy of your data is verified, when the processing is unlawful but you want the data to be restricted in its use rather than erased, when we no longer need your data but you need it for the establishment, exercise or substantiation of a legal claim, or when the objection you have raised is assessed. One way to make this request is through the contact form. State clearly in the subject line that it is a request to restrict processing.

Right to object

You have the right to object to the use of personal data. If you indicate that you no longer wish to be contacted (through a particular medium), Schrader Art Support will include you in a file for that purpose and your personal data will no longer be used for these purposes. One way to make this request is through the contact form.

Right to data portability

You may send a request to Schrader Art Support for “data portability. One way to make this request is through the contact form. Clearly indicate in the subject line that it is a data portability request.

Please note that in some cases Schrader Art Support may request additional information to properly establish your identity.

Schrader Art Support will answer your request within 1 month at the latest, unless your request is so complex or frequent, in which case this period will be extended by up to 2 months. We will then notify you of this within 1 month.

Can you withdraw your consent?

If you have consented to the processing of your personal data, you may also withdraw it. Please note that withdrawing your consent is only possible for personal data to which you have actually consented and that withdrawal is not retroactive. Your consent can be withdrawn in several ways, such as by using the opt-out option at the bottom of our emails or by contacting us using the contact information at the bottom of this privacy statement.

Changes to this Privacy Statement.

The way your personal data is used by us may change, in which case we will update our Privacy Statement. We therefore recommend that you review our Privacy Statemen from time to time so that you are aware of these changes.

Schrader Art Support is committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal data properly.
